The aim of Longfields:
To provide day services to support people with learning and physical disabilities, and their carers, to help them lead full lives.
Longfields believes:
- People with learning or physical disabilities have the right to be treated with dignity and respect.
- Everyone is valued and has an important contribution to make.
- We are all entitled to the same opportunities as everyone else, but some people need more help to get these than others.
Longfields provides:
- A Key Worker who will draw up an individual programme of activities to ensure that people's needs are met.
- Individual sessions which focus on individual plans.
- Group work activities.
- Activities to help people make friends and improve their skills.
